A three-in-one insurance policy that brings together:
NHIF's capacity to provide low cost family cover
CIC's professional expertise in servicing micro clients
KWFT's ability to reach an established group of members requiring such a service.
A micro-insurance policy that covers the KWFT member and her whole family:
Against hospital inpatient costs,
Pays her a weekly allowance for accident related admissions to enable her meet business obligations,
Pays her a lump sum amount incase such admission leads to permanent disability such that she can diversify her business activity or engage replacement staff,
Pays her family money to cover funeral expenses incase of death, with an additional lump sum amount also paid to the family incase the death was due to an accident.

Part 1 - A Comprehensive Medical Cover for the whole family
Ensures there are no deposits required at admission
Pays Maternity costs for Normal & Caesarean Births
Pays all doctors fees
Pays bed charges including food
Pays for X-ray and laboratory costs
Pays for all prescribed drugs and dressing
Pays *Theatre fees and surgical charges
Pays ICU charges
Pays for treatment of chronic and pre-existing medical conditions
Cover caters for 180 days admission.
* The client pays the first Kshs. 15,000/= for surgery cases
Part 2 - A Personal Accident on the KWFT member
Pays Kshs. 2,000/= per week that the KWFT member is admitted in hospital as a result of an accident, up to 6 months. (A minimum of 3 days admission constitutes a week in this case)
Pays Kshs. 100,000/= in case the KWFT member becomes permanently disabled as a result of an accident.
Pays Kshs. 100,000/= in case the KWFT member dies as a result of an accident
This benefit is exclusive to the KWFT member alone in the family
Part 3 - A Last Respects Benefit on the KWFT member
Pays the family Kshs. 30,000 if death occurs to the KWFT member. This payment is made within 48 hours from moment claim is made as it is meant to be for catering for funeral expenses. Payment is made whatever the cause of death.
This benefit can be extended to cover other family members on payment of additional fees as follows:
HOSPITAL SERVICE PROVIDERS
The inpatient services are accessed from a list of hospitals that is spread out through the country.
The hospitals are mainly mission hospitals, with a few low cost private hospitals and some government hospitals.
